Week 7 Review
In probably the most crazed week of the fantasy season so far, there would be three games decided by five points or less. The week could have been considered one of the biggest screw jobs in fantasy football history if not for the late game heroics of some players on a few teams. A trade was made between Josh (Godzillas) and Gabe (Crotch Waffles), which included Steven Jackson, Derek Anderson, Brian Griese, and Larry Johnson. Although proposed and accepted prior to week 8, due to the protest rule of 2 days, which allows myself to confer with my associates Mr. Davis Rayburn and Mr. Semaj Ignag the trade window on Yahoo said the trade would not be viable in their lineups until week 8.
Even though it said that it wouldn't go through until week 8, which I was not aware of, I was able to consult my associates early enough on Sunday to allow the trade to go through, and our Yahoo affiliate wiring the proposal through to be viable for week 7. So Gabe who was oblivious to this act (Even though everyone including Riggy himself should check their lineups immediately prior to the start of Sunday's games) lost a starting RB and Josh started Steven Jackson. I was also oblivious to the problem until later that night due to me traveling toughest Virginia on Sunday.
Yet in the end everything worked out. Josh should have lost, and he did. Gabe should have won and he won. So that is settled, now on to some more simple fantasy talk.
Following a competitive week 6, the standings left the Romosapiens on top of the leader board at (5-1), the Godzillas right behind him in points also at (5-1). There was then 5 teams all at the record of (3-3) and with this Week 7's matchups it was sure to split up in two different ways, winners and losers.
Game of the Week

In a game that affected the two main topics of week (the "Trade" & the [3-3] scramble) the Crotch Waffles made another small step towards almost perfect. With only one Running back and Roy Williams, recently given to the Dallas Football franchise, scoring a big goose egg. Gabe took huge chance at this point in the season by starting not so fantasy friendly "THE" Chad Pennington. The pay off though was a lot more than the latter and Gabe got the most important win for his struggling team so far this season.
Chad scored a total of (16) fantasy points throwing an above Chad average 295 yards in the air with a TD. On the other side of the coin, In Flames needed a win to break off of a .500 record. They got great games from WR Andre Johnson (11 Rec. 141 yds) and "Big" Ben (2 Tds. 216 yds). It was not enough though to beat the 8-player team that Gabe put out this week. It was indeed one small step for Gabe, one giant step for the Crotch Waffles!

There is only two ways the Godzillas can go, or they could go nowhere at all. In Josh's case he went nowhere or in other terms his stock has stayed the same following a week 7, (4) point loss to the Elastic Warriors. If it were not for a late trade for Steven Jackson, Josh would have not even been close in this game, and indeed would have the worst score of the week. Yet Steven Jackson scored 39 fantasy points and kept the Godzillas in it until the end. The Elastic Warriors are now officially on a roll. After starting out (0-3) and soaking in the shame of drafting Tom Brady, the Warriors have won 3 out of their last 4 against the likes of the notable teams; Jimmasters and Godzillas.

Both teams at (3-3), with Petey having the latter in total points matched up for a close one to say the least. The ALLIANCE got major help this week from the likes of RB Adrian Peterson and much touted (at the All Pro draft) Thomas Jones. But to quote DAVE, "Only Billy's Defense could give up 41 points and still score (23) fantasy points", that defense being Chicago. A high scoring Norfolk team had an off week in week 7 giving the ALLIANCE the opening and they indeed took it. Key players for him this week were Clinton Portis and Buffalo WR Lee Evans, but they were not key enough. This game separated the [3-3] scramble leaving the ALLIANCE in 4th place and Norfolk-in-Chance in 5th place.

Two teams that are always good year after year squared off in this fantasy bout. Yet this year, only one team is considered a top team since the Eggrolls are struggling terribly. Although Randy Moss and Chris Johnson finally stepped up for Kevin both having big weeks, Brett Favre and company getting negative points did not push them in the right direction. Simply put, the Romosapiens have been consistent in their scoring. All their players put up good numbers and that’s why they won this week, and that is why they won 5 times prior to week 7 as well.

Jimmy still declares himself as "the best" yet he went down for the 4th time this season in week 7. The power of the Mullet was much too powerful for any master of any sort to overcome. The Jimmasters did have a few big scorers in Dominic Rhodes and co., but the Mafia of Mullets proved to be an immovable object. The Mafia was lead by an unlikely source of points in (35) by Mewelde Moore. Special Teams also proved to be great for Dave, with his Kicker and special teams unit scoring 21 points this week.
Stock Up/Stock Down
Stock Up:
The Elastic Warriors- The warriors lost their first three and their best player, yet they hung in there and won the last 3 of 4. They just came off an all-important regular season win against Josh and his Godzillas. The Catena ahs also been holding back on total moves this year, which could be the different between missing or getting a playoff berth in our 5th All Pro Season.
Stock Same:
Godzillas: Josh had a terrible week, losing to a 2-4 Catena team, but he did make a great move giving up wife beater Larry Johnson for an all of a sudden explosive Steven Jackson. Josh needs a win in week 8 though, considering there are to (4-3) teams right behind him in the standings.
Stock Down:
Chinese Eggrolls: After starting off 2-0, the Eggrolls looked to become a powerful force in the league for yet another league. But since, have lost 5 straight and things aren't looking good for Kevin's playoff hopes. He also arguably ahs the toughest schedule the rest of the way, and it could mean the 1st time in 5 years that the Eggrolls do not make the playoffs.
