WEEK 1 REVIEW

GAME OF THE WEEK

THUNDER v.s. CROTCH WAFFLES

The Thunder v.s. The Crotch Waffle was the game of WEEK 1 for two simple reasons. It was the closest scoring game and it went down to the wire in the final two games of the week, which were Baltimore-Cincinati and Arizona-San Francisco. Going into Monday Night The Thunder were leading by 15 points (102-87). Thunder had Cincinati RB Rudi Johnson and San Francisco WR Darrel jackson, while The Crotch Waffles had fiersome Arizona RB the Edge, Edgerrin James.

The Thunder were really lifted by the performance eof their receivers scoring 41 points with Steve Smith and Thunder regular Andre Johnson. Thunder's Defense of Pittsburgh also performed big scoring 30points in a blowout win over Cleveland.

The Crotch Waffles really were unlucky in the week. The entire teamperformed great with the exception of a few key players. They had 6 players in the double figures but the satr RB and QB could not get the job done getting a combined 0 points did Drew brees and Steven Jackson. If these two players perfromed to their normal level the Crotch waffles would have had the highest score on the week.

After Rudi Johnson put up a terrible performance of 50 yards rushing and a few receptions (8 points), Darell Jackson needed to perform for Thunder to hold their lead. So going in to the finale of Week 1 Thunder were leading by 23. Edgerrin James put in a great performance rushing for over 90 yards andfinding the endzone onone occasion with a few receptions. Although it was not enough as Darrel Jackson limped through the game only scoring 5 fantasy points, butenough for the big W.

Final Score: Thunder 115 > Crotch Waffles 104

The Whole Dam Show just could't get the job done as they fell to the Chinese Eggrolls in the lowest scoring game of the Week and Season so far. TWDS top scorers were Chicago Defense at 19 points adn Brian westbrook at 17 points with a little help from Bulger andFletcher, but the other 6 players of the team including all the Wide Receivers scored a pointless 29 points. Chinese Eggrolls didn't get much help from their receiversalso, but the rest of the team came through. They especially came through Monday Night with Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson scoreda combined 34 points with help from Marion Barber (14), Travis Henry (19), and Philadelphia at (15) to get the win.

In the highest scoring game of the week, the Cowgirls, errr Cowboys defeated In Flames in avery close game down by a margin 14 points. This game alsocame down to the wire. Going into Monday Night Cowboys were leading 138-102and it lookdas they would cruise to an esy win. Yet Baltimore Defense fought back and scored 35 to tie it up, but Frank Gore would put the game away in the last game scoring 13 points. Both teams had a bunch of high scorers in the 20 and 30 point range, but Cowboys QB Tony Romo topped them all with a whopping week of 42 points that included 4 TDs and 345 passing yards.

There was no contest here in this one. This game left the Power Puff Girlz where they must like to be, because thats where they decide to stay for usually the entire season-EVERY SEASON: And that is LAST PLACE. PowerPuff Girlz had thelow score of the week and the Mexican Weasel Poppers had the high score of the week. Even though Tomlinson had the worst game of probably his career, he still managed to get two Tds and score about 1/3 of the Girl'z points, but it was no where close enough. The Weasel Popper's RBs didnt help, but the rest of the team did. The poppers got a usual week from P. Manning (29), and big games from Randy moss (32), and a monster Defensive week from Minnesota at (39). The Poppers might have doubledthe worst team in theleague, but don't expect the Mexican Weasel Poppers to stay on top for long since they had some very easy Key Matchups in this early WEEK ONE.

Both teams had a couple of big scorers each in this matchup. Godzillas had Ronald Curry and Plaxico Burres have huge weeks scoring 25 and 36 points each (61)Addai and Alexander who combined to add 40 points to the 61. The game seemed over before it started, but Martin Gramatica would not give up. Tom Brady and Reggie wayne put a fight combining for 51 points, but it just wasn't enough to win the matchupin WEEK ONE.
