Every year there is one game with so much tension and animosity that eventually blows up by Monday Night's game. That of course is the Eggrolls v.s. the ALLIANCE, it’s the ALLIANCE v.s. the NWO, brother v.s. brother, Billy v.s. Kevin, and there of course must be a winner.

A little history lesson, in the past 4 years, there has been 10 matchups between the Chinese Eggrolls and the ALLIANCE, which includes two key playoff games. In 2004, the ALLIANCE won the first game in All Pro history by a score of 129-112. The Eggrolls then went on to win their second regular season matchup and then roll over the ALLIANCE in the semi's of the playoffs that year. In 2005, the Eggrolls won both regular season games, yet the ALLIANCE got the last laugh defeated the Eggrolls in the 1st round of the playoffs that year. In 2006, they split regular season again, with owner Kevin winning the first game by a point and owner Billy blowing the Eggrolls out the second game by a difference of 50+ points. Then this past year [2007] they split once again. This left the all time record with the Eggrolls having 6 total wins and the ALLIANCE with only 4.

Heading into the first season and 11th all time matchup between the two it was sure to be something worth keeping your eye on. Though it wound up being the lowest scoring game of the week, it damn sure was the closest and most exciting game of the week. Sunday was a slow day for both teams. The ALLIANCE had their biggest scorer in Jay Cutler, who threw for 3 Td's and had a good amount of yards through the air. On the other side of the table, the Eggrolls got their largest portion of scoring from an unlikely source in kicker Olindo Mare who had 20 fantasy points this week.

As always, the most exciting game usually comes down to the final NFL game of the week, but this one came down to the final seconds of the final game. Heading into Monday Night's Jets-Chargers game, the ALLIANCE was leading by 9 points and had two of Gang Greens Offensive Unit, while the Eggrolls were depending on San Diego QB Philip Rivers.

It seemed as if the Eggrolls had an easy win throughout the first half, as Rivers [3 TD, 1 INT, 250 Yds] lead the San Diego faithful down the field for 3 consecutive scores through the air. By the end of the 3rd quarter though, the fantasy score told a different story. Although Rivers had racked up 19 fantasy points heading into the 4th quarter, T. Jones threw up a scrawny 2 points, while Stuckey had a few receptions for a few points, which kept the ALLIANCE in the game. With the ALLIANCE down 9 points, Brett Favre found Stuckey on 3 consecutive plays, with the 3rd one being a charm in the end zone. This gave the ALLIANCE a 1-point lead.

On the very next Charger possession, Rivers audibled into a spread formation and found a receiver downfield, to give the Eggrolls a two point lead of their own again, at 96-94. With only 2 minutes left on the clock, owner Kevin was celebrating...celebrating a little pre-maturely...

With only a minute left in the game, backup Jets QB connected to Stuckey on two catch and runs to put the ALLIANCE back up by a single point and give them the "buzzer beater" win.

This decision moves the ALLIANCE to 2-1 and 4th place in the standings, it is the first loss for the Chinese Eggrolls and they will sit, also at 2-1, in second place behind the undefeated Romosapiens.

It was a matter of what would beat what. Many all over the world have asked for centuries upon centuries; could fire beat a mullet? Could a mullet beat fire? Who would stand tall if a raging ball of hot flames collided with an Italian group of bad haircuts? Well those unanswered questions were put to sleep and answered this week as In Flames upset a rolling Mullet Mafia team. It could be simply put, as the team who won was a lot more durable than the other. In Flames had their best RB perform well while injured, Ladanian Tomlinson scored 17 points, but on the other hand, Brian Westbrook was again injured and left the game with a measly 12 rushing yards. In Flames also got much needed help from constantly producing tailback Reggie Bush, who scored 30 fantasy points this week, burning the bad haircuts right of the Mafia's heads.

It was said in a preview a few weeks ago, that the Romosapiens success would be based on whether or not Michael Turner of the Atlanta Falcons could keep his week 1 heroics going on throughout the entire season. As of this point, it is looking very good for owner Phil, who saw his two starting halfbacks score in the high 20's in fantasy points this week to lead them to a victory over the Elastic Warriors. The warriors saw a little spark under their newfound QB J.T. O'Sullivan, but it was most definitely not enough to squeak a win by the Romosapiens aka the entire Dallas Cowboy offense. The Romosapiens improve to a perfect 3-0 and are in 1st place, while the Elastic warriors stay winless and remain in 9th place.

2-0 Jimmasters looked for a third win against a winless Norfolk-in-Chance this week, but were disappointed in the process. This week's matchup between the two, was decided by who made the better sit/start decisions and that happened to be Norfolk-in-Chance. A good start in Kurt Warner really saved the Jimmasters from embarrassment this week scoring 17 points compared to BIG BEN's -3 points total. Yet Roddy white and Marvin Harrison of the Jimmasters were left to ponder themselves on the bench this week and it proved to be a big difference. Norfolk got big numbers from their top 3 players, in Drewn Brees (29), Frank Gore (25), and Brandon Marshall (27). The Jimmasters fall of the radar a bit after this week and fall into the mix with 4 other [2-1] teams. Norfolk-in-Chance looks to bounce off another win and keep their momentum going in to Week 4.

It seemed like a very even matchup going into week 3, and it was exactly that with the exception of one player and that was Cincinnati WR T.J. Houshmanzadeh. Both teams' QB ailed on through their games with single digit scoring, both RB's of the 2 teams were very god, as well as both defenses and kickers, but Josh and the Godzillas had one big receiver do it for him, and that 28 points out of TJ Whosyamama proved to be the exact difference in the game.
